Good news…this is healthy non-dairy, non-soy cheddar cheese; high in calcium from the sesame and rich in the omega fats from hemp seeds.
1 cup sesame seeds soaked
1/2 cup hemp seed nut
1 tsp hemp seed oil
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
1/4 tsp turmeric for color
Blend in high-powered blender and add a bit of hemp milk or filtered water if liquid is needed. Spread cheese mixture to thickness desired on dehydrator Teflex sheet and dehydrate at 115F for 3 hours. Remove Teflex sheet and continue dehydrating at 105F until cheese is right consistency.
